What if I forgot my username and password?
Select "forgot password" by the login button on the homepage. You will receive an email allowing you to reset your password.
Who is eligible for this program?
All alumni and friends of the University of Missouri are able to participate in this program as mentors. Current students of the University of Missouri are eligible to participate as mentees.
Does it cost to participate?
While there is no fee to participate in this program, we highly encourage you to become a member of our Alumni Association to remain engaged and maximize your user experience. Learn more here.
What is the time commitment?
While there is no set time commitment, we do provide milestones and goals that we encourage mentors and mentees to complete together. Each relationship formed could require different amounts of time commitment. We truly believe that each participant will get out of this program what they put into it!
Are there ways to be involved with this program other than having a direct mentor or mentee?
Right now, the primary way to participate is to have a mentor or mentee. As we continue to develop the program we hope to add more events and opportunities to connect people in multiple ways. How do I know someone wants to connect with me/has accepted my invitation? Do I have to log in to the system?
You will receive an email any time you have a notification in the mentoring platform. The email will include instructions and a link to take you directly to the new item. Alternatively, if you are already signed into the system, you will see updates on your home page.
I'm having trouble filling out my profile and need help with a specific section.
If the question or section has a (?) next to it, check to see if there are further instructions. Still having trouble? Email us and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.
I'm using Internet Explorer and having trouble choosing more than one option on multi-check responses.
There are a couple of options to remedy this. If you have access to a different browser, you will be able to choose multiple answers. Using Internet Explorer, hold CTRL while clicking to select multiple items.
What type of information will pull from LinkedIn?
LinkedIn restricts the amount of data available to pull into third party sites, such as your Mentor/Mentee Profile. You are able to sign in with your LinkedIn credentials, which pulls over your email address, first and last name, and profile picture; however, additional information is not available (like current work info) and must be entered manually.
I have a question that isn't answered online. What should I do?

I have taken the CliftonStrengths Assessment but do not remember my results. How do I access them?
You can log in online to see your results. If you are having trouble logging in, your options are as follows:
If you took the assessment through the MU Career Center email email@example.com for assistance.
If you took the assessment outside of the university, call the Strengths Help Line at 888-211-4049.
Are there any limits to the numbers of mentors I can have at one time?
You may have up to three mentors at a time.
Can students and alums be mentees? Or just collegians?
The program is set up for current Mizzou students to take on the formal mentee role. Alumni and friends should register as mentors. However, mentors are able to search and connect with other mentors, as well, via the platform.
Do I have to search for a mentor that has the same degree that I am pursuing?
Absolutely not! While this is certainly a large component to this program, we want it to be used as a way to connect people in their personal lives as well. Whether it be moving to a new city and looking for advice, or seeking out an accomplished professional to look up to, you can use this site to help meet whatever needs you may have.
I don’t live in Columbia anymore, can I still be a mentor?
Yes! That is something that makes this program so special, the ability to connect Tigers to one another from anywhere in the world. While you may not be able to meet in person frequently, you will still have the ability to help impact their future and be a valuable role model.
Even if I am a mentor, can I still be a mentee as well?
As mentor, in addition to accepting formal pairings with student mentees, you have the option to search and connect with other mentors through the platform, based on a variety of demographics. Once you have searched for a peer mentor, based on your desired criteria, you can send messages directly through the platform. Although we do recommend that you do not take on too many connections at once in an effort to maximize your engagement and benefit from utilizing this platform.
